At enterprise scale the hard problems stop being configuration and become design. This course covers advanced routing with OSPF areas, EIGRP, and BGP, including path selection, route filtering, and the policy work that makes multi-homing behave. You will study MPLS and the VPN services built on it, then SD-WAN as the model that increasingly replaces them, with honest treatment of what it does and does not solve. High availability is covered through first hop redundancy, link aggregation, and fast convergence tuning. Data centre topics include spine-leaf design, VXLAN, and overlay networking. The course closes with capacity planning and a full design exercise for a multi-site organisation, defended against realistic failure scenarios.
