Cyber Skill Institute provides digital E-Learning Materials covering different cybersecurity-related subject areas and Skill Levels. Materials available through the Platform are organized into various categories designed to cover different areas of cybersecurity education.

The available categories may include:

Cloud Security: Materials relating to cloud infrastructure protection, cloud applications, cloud security practices, and related security concepts.
Cybersecurity Basics: Materials covering foundational cybersecurity concepts, common threats, attack techniques, identity and access management, security awareness, and general security practices.

We do not guarantee that any specific Material, subject, category, Skill Level, format, or feature will remain available permanently.

4. Account Registration & Security

Certain Platform features may require you to create a personal Account.

When registering or maintaining an Account, you are responsible for:

Providing accurate and complete registration information;
Keeping your Account information current;
Protecting the confidentiality of your login credentials;
Taking reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized access to your Account; and
Accepting responsibility for activity carried out through your Account.

5.2 Credit Pricing and Calculation: The amount of Credits provided for a purchase is determined according to the pricing, applicable conversion rates, and Credit calculation displayed on the Platform when the transaction is made.

6. Payments & Billing

Payments made through the Platform apply to the purchase of Credits and any other applicable charges displayed during the transaction process. E-Learning Materials are obtained using eligible Credits rather than being purchased directly with supported currencies.

A Credit purchase must be successfully completed before the corresponding Credits become available for use. Supported currencies, payment methods, purchase amounts, Credit allocations, and other applicable transaction details will be displayed through the Platform before payment is confirmed.

You are responsible for reviewing all transaction information carefully before completing a payment.

7. Use of Credits for E-Learning Materials

Once sufficient Credits are available in your Account, you may use them to obtain eligible E-Learning Materials available through the Platform.

Before confirming an acquisition, you are responsible for reviewing:

The subject or E-Learning Materials title;
The applicable Skill Level;
The description of the Materials;
The number of Credits required; and
Any other relevant information displayed on the applicable product page.

Once you confirm the transaction, the applicable number of Credits will be deducted from your Account.

Unless otherwise expressly stated, obtaining E-Learning Materials provides you with a limited, personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to access and use the Materials for personal, non-commercial educational and informational purposes, subject to these Terms.

8. Digital Content & Access

E-Learning Materials are digital products and may be delivered or made available electronically through your Account, the Platform, or another digital access method designated by us.

Digital Materials may require compatible devices, software, internet connectivity, browsers, applications, or other technical requirements. You are responsible for ensuring that your equipment and environment are capable of accessing the Materials.

We do not guarantee that every Material will be compatible with every device, operating system, browser, application, or software environment.

We may make reasonable technical modifications to the Platform or Materials from time to time for security, functionality, compatibility, maintenance, or operational purposes.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

11. Bonus Credits

We may provide Bonus Credits based on the amount of Credits purchased or in connection with promotional offers displayed on the Platform.

Bonus Credits are provided at no additional monetary cost and are separate from Credits purchased directly by you.

Unless otherwise expressly stated:

Bonus Credits have no cash or monetary value;
Bonus Credits are non-refundable;
Bonus Credits cannot be exchanged for cash;
Bonus Credits cannot be transferred, sold, assigned, or exchanged between Accounts;
Bonus Credits cannot be withdrawn or converted into Purchased Credits;
Bonus Credits may only be used for eligible Materials available through the Platform; and
Bonus Credits may be subject to an expiration date or other promotional conditions stated when they are issued.

If you request or become entitled to a refund of a Credit purchase, associated Bonus Credits will not be refunded or converted into cash or another monetary value.

Where applicable, unused Bonus Credits may be cancelled or removed from your Account if the underlying Credit transaction is refunded, reversed, cancelled, or determined to be fraudulent or unauthorized.

Where a purchase includes both Purchased Credits and Bonus Credits, we reserve the right to determine the order in which Credits are deducted when you obtain Materials.

12. Pricing and Payment Information

Prices for Credits and any other applicable charges will be displayed on the Platform and may be presented in USD ($) and JPY (¥).

Your bank, card issuer, payment provider, or financial institution may impose additional fees, taxes, currency conversion charges, or other costs. We are not responsible for charges imposed by such third parties.

We may change prices or applicable Credit requirements from time to time. Such changes will not affect transactions that have already been successfully completed.

13. Refunds and Cancellations

Because Credits and E-Learning Materials are digital products, certain restrictions may apply to cancellations and refunds.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly provided in our Refund Policy:

Purchased Credits are non-refundable once the transaction has been successfully completed;
Bonus Credits are non-refundable except where applicable law requires otherwise;
Bonus Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for a monetary refund;
Credits already used to obtain E-Learning Materials are non-refundable;
E-Learning Materials that have already been accessed, downloaded, or otherwise made available to you may not qualify for a refund; and
Requests based solely on a change of mind may not qualify for a refund.

Where a refund is approved for a Credit purchase that included Bonus Credits, only the eligible amount actually paid for the Purchased Credits may be considered for refund. Bonus Credits will not be included in the refundable amount.

If Bonus Credits have already been used to obtain E-Learning Materials and the related Credit purchase is later refunded, we may deduct the corresponding value from the refund, cancel the obtained Materials, or take other reasonable measures to prevent misuse of promotional Credits, subject to applicable law.

If you believe you were incorrectly charged, received an incorrect number of Credits or Bonus Credits, or experienced a technical problem affecting a transaction, please contact our support team as soon as reasonably possible.

14. Accuracy of Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep information presented through the Platform accurate and current.

However, we do not guarantee that descriptions, prices, availability, technical information, or other Platform content will always be complete, accurate, or free from errors.

We reserve the right to correct inaccuracies, errors, or omissions and to update information when necessary without prior notice.
