Everything else in this catalogue assumes you can read a network. This course makes sure you can. You will work through the OSI and TCP/IP models as practical tools rather than exam trivia, then follow a single request down the stack and back up the other side. IP addressing and subnetting are taught until they are quick rather than laborious, including CIDR, VLSM, and IPv6. You will study switching, ARP, and VLANs at layer two, routing and NAT at layer three, and TCP against UDP behaviour where it matters. DNS, DHCP, HTTP, and TLS are examined in Wireshark so you see what each protocol really sends. Every module ends with a capture you analyse yourself.
